PA Fans – you’ve asked for it and so shall you receive… I will be posting periodic post production updates with key details, exclusive photos, and video clips.
I know you all feel it – like infusing a man with the ability to turn invisible, we did the unthinkable and captured something truly remarkable during the production of Project Arbiter. Now for the incredible – to uncloak and turn him visible once again for all to see. This month, August, marks the official start of our visual effects team’s journey and I know we are in good hands with Jesse Boots and team. They have been working tirelessly ramp’n up elements throughout production and the months that followed. Now, Jesse has completed a breakdown and its full speed ahead on specific shots.
Nelson Nunez (Editor) and I have worked diligently on this now version 7 of the PA edit. The rough cut several months back clocked in at 24 minutes. Now it’s a lean and mean 19 minutes and 45 seconds. Nelson and I will be posting details about how we collaborated and shared the edit along with how it is a huge advantage for run and gun filmmaking to shoot in 4.5k with the RED One and then finish on 2k – allowing for flexibility with recomposing shots to emphasize the dramatic down to the subtle elements within a given frame.
All I can say is… The cut looks really good.
Now to get that next trailer ready…
